Sorry, this isn't the type of video to post on this website. A show about gaming history is fine, but almost none of the images or footage were your work.

GeekyAnime responds:

Well, of couse the images or footage aren't mine, it's a video game history show.

The body language is fantastic. I think you met all the requirements for your assignment. While it wasn't the focus of this short, Winston's face seemed to lack emotion, compared to the tone of his voice. The lamp moving and object falling when he banged on the table were nice touhes.

Amylittlehands responds:

Thanks for your kind words, it means a lot. I do agree with you there regarding the facial expressions, especially towards the end of the clip. This is the first character animation I've done, so I'm always looking for comments! Will try and push more expression next time.

The art is nice, though I wish sausage dog had done a bit more than play lumberjack and drop a log. Also, why is the last 10 seconds blank?

BrownProductions responds:

Shoot. We didn't even notice that. When we were reviewing it we only watched up until in says "Brown Productions"

I dunno... It just feels like there are a sea of pokemon parodies like this. While I'm not intimately familiar with the source material, I'm certain that this didn't have anything new to say about the franchise. I'm not sure it even said anything at all about Pokemon. You could've made fun of a wonky game mechanic, or some irritating plotline or character from the cards, or anime, or manga, etc.

Perhaps you were trying to make it more accessible to those who aren't fans of the franchise, but there wasn't any substance, nor was there any more than a superficial resemblance to Pokemon.

Art is okay, audio was good except at :06, a bit hard to make out there.
Keep Trying.

Deadtuna responds:

I wasn't fully trying to make it like the actual show or game. I was trying to basicaloly practice a style of animation but this is what came out. Sorry if it wasn't to your liking, but thanks for the input.

Both parts were pretty funny, even though I'm not completely familiar with the source material. Tails sounds like Rob Paulsen at first.

kalabor106 responds:

After you mention it he really did sound like Rob Paulsen. Hehehe. Thanks

It's pretty abstract, but it all comes together nicely.

Mediegeekdotdk responds:

Thanks!

Pretty polished overall. The animation is smooth, and the voices are done okay.

Not too bad. The graphics aren't the smoothest, but that's not a huge issue. The writing is about average. However, I think some improvements in the acting and/or recording equipment could help bring out a bit more humor.

dogsinthecathouse responds:

Thanks for the feedback. I'll definitely have to work on improving audio quality in future animations.

I guess he got his wish, in a way...

But anyway, This is much better than you give it credit for. I just wish it didn't loop, but that's just nitpicking.

toxicbomb responds:

I could not get the stop(); to work nor could I get the buttons to work. :( Something to do with AS3.

For what it is, it's pretty entertaining. You seem to have put a lot of effort into it.

cownose-ray responds:

Thank you

I don't even know you.
