Perhaps there should be a countdown once you hit play. Currently, a player would have to know the layout of the game before playing it to avoid the first set of spikes. The sound design seems a bit threadbare outside the actual gameplay, but I think this could have potential to be a pretty good game.
The placement of powerups and hazzards seems random, sometimes resulting in oxygen/fuel right next to or inside a spike. That is the one most glaring bug in an otherwise decent game.

Not really anything I can say about this. It colors within the metaphorical lines, almost to the extent of being bland.
